Return to Naxos

This weekend was very nostalgic for me as I added a new chapter to my Dr Who novel entitled Doctor Who: March of the Kouros.

Set on the Greek island of Naxos, one of my all time favourite holiday destinations, it stars Christopher Eccleston's 9th Doctor, with assistants Rose Tyler and Jack Harkness, as they investigate strange goings on on the island.

I plan to start serialising the novel here in my blog once I've built up a nice chunk of chapters to share.

Pictured is the 9th Doctor overlooking the island's most memorable relic, the Portara, located at the picturesque port of Naxos, which features heavily in the story.

With a whopping 24 chapters Transformers: the Ominite Crisis, is the longest (partly completed) work of fiction I've ever done.
Currently hosted on http://boards.transformersmovie.com/ it has taken just over 24 chapters to tell the tale of an alternate universe version of the classic "Robots in Disguise" as the Autobots and Decepticons face the monsterous evil of the Ominite.
New chapters have been a long time coming, but hopefully book 2 will be completed early 2009.

Getting Started

Ok, so today is the day I start my blog. No big parade, no circus, just me sat at my computer trying to organize my thoughts into a format I dare share with the universe (or at least those with access to the internet).

What is it all in aid of? Well over the next few months I plan to make use of this as a means of displaying my growing portfolio of artwork and fiction. With luck it should prove popular with someone.

So here is to the launch of Steven's Scriblings.
